AI-native. Systems-first.Design-led. Research-backed.

We don't build apps with AI features bolted on. We build systems that are AI-native from the architecture up, engineered to optimize the workflow they sit inside, not just automate one step of it. Every build carries the same design conviction as a standalone product, and every system is informed by a standing research lab, not just whatever the model provider shipped last week.

01 / Studio

What is Brixloop?

A small, technical studio that builds AI-native products for startups and growth-stage companies, and runs an in-house research lab alongside client work, not instead of it.

Most AI agencies are one of two things: a dev shop that ships whatever's in the spec and moves on, or a wrapper around someone else's API with no engineering depth underneath. We're neither. Every client engagement is fixed-scope and fixed-price, built by the same people who've spent time on harder research problems (legal clause classification, regime-adaptive trading strategies, medical image classification, network intrusion detection), not because a client asked, but because that discipline is what makes the client work good.

02 / Concept

The concept

Four things, one team.

01

AI-first.

Every system starts as AI-native, not AI-added. The model isn't a feature bolted onto a CRUD app after the fact. It's part of the architecture from the first design decision.

02

Systems, not apps.

We don't ship standalone software. We ship systems that optimize the process they sit inside: ingestion, decisioning, output, feedback loop. An app does a task. A system improves the workflow around it.

03

Design-first.

Design isn't a skin applied at the end. Conviction on how something looks and feels ships with the same rigor as the backend, because a system nobody wants to use is a system that doesn't work.

04

A standing research lab.

Client work is built by the same team running independent research (legal clause classification, quant equity strategy, medical imaging, network intrusion detection), published honestly, wins and failures both. That discipline shows up in every client system, not just in a lab notebook.

03 / Position

Why there's almost no one doing exactly this

01

Large agencies and dev shops.

Optimized for delivery volume and billable hours, not technical depth. Spec comes in, code goes out, no one on the team is still thinking about your problem after the invoice clears.

02

Freelance AI wrapper builders.

A thin interface over someone else's API, shipped fast, with no engineering discipline underneath: no concurrency handling, no evals, no plan for what happens when the model changes or traffic spikes.

03

Solo research projects.

Strong ideas, real rigor, but they stay in a notebook. The gap between "the model works" and "this is running in production for a paying user" is exactly where most research-first teams stop.

We sit in the middle: research discipline applied to things that actually ship, design conviction included, at a fixed price and a fixed timeline.

04 / Capabilities

Service areas

One focused capability cluster per engagement. Clear scope, clear timeline, clear ownership.

01

Tech Consultancy & Systems

Generative AI pipelines, automation, and platform engineering. Positioned as systems, not point solutions.

Best forOperations-heavy businesses, EdTech and media platforms, real estate and enterprise operations

  • Bulk generative media pipelines (video, audio, image) with system-level orchestration
  • Document processing and approval automation
  • Data extraction and enrichment pipelines
  • Enterprise platforms, ERP, multi-role admin, CRM and workflow integrations

02

AI SaaS Products

Full-stack AI-native product builds. Zero to one.

Best forSeed/Series A startups, technical founders, validated product ideas

  • Contract intelligence platforms
  • Document AI tools
  • AI-powered dashboards and analytics
  • LLM-integrated B2B SaaS

03

AI Research & Engineering

Independent research that feeds directly back into client systems.

Best forTeams that need more than an API wrapper, real model work, evaluated and documented

  • Domain-specific model fine-tuning (e.g. legal, medical classification)
  • Quant and time-series research
  • Applied ML for security and detection systems
  • Published methodology, including negative results

04

Design

Brand identity and design systems for founders who need visual conviction, not just a logo.

Best forReal estate brands, healthcare and wellness businesses, media companies, software startups

  • Brand identity systems, logo, color, typography, and usage guidelines
  • Real estate brand kits, built for listings, marketing collateral, and agent-facing materials
  • Healthcare and wellness brand identity
  • Software/SaaS brand systems, built to extend cleanly into product UI

07 / Engage

Engagement model

Every build is fixed-scope and fixed-price. No hourly billing during the build phase. You know the cost and timeline before we start.

Once a system ships, most clients move to a monthly maintenance retainer. We built it, we know it best, and AI systems specifically need upkeep most software doesn't: model updates, prompt/eval drift, provider API changes, usage scaling. The retainer isn't a lock-in tactic. It's the honest cost of keeping an AI-native system healthy after launch.
